“Most organizations have a version of the same problem. The process exists but nobody wrote it down. The document exists but nobody can follow it. The content strategy exists but nobody can explain what it is returning. I work at the point where good intentions meet unclear communication — and I write the thing that closes the gap.
I am not a portal. Before anything else, I am happy to spend fifteen minutes on the phone or on a call to hear what you are dealing with. No forms, no fees, no preparation required. If it sounds like I can help, we go from there. You can reach me by phone, email, or by booking directly through Calendly.
Operational Documentation
Every organization runs on processes. Most of those processes live in someone’s head. When that person leaves — and they always leave — the process goes with them. I extract what people know, and write it down in plain language the next person can actually use.
This includes standard operating procedures, workflow guides, training manuals, and knowledge capture for individuals in key roles. I work with small business owners in Metro Vancouver who need consistent standards built from scratch, and with corporate HR and operations teams who need someone their staff will talk to honestly. I conduct the interviews. I do the writing. Your team’s job is to show up and tell me how things actually work.
How It Works
First, a free fifteen minute call to see if there is a fit. If there is, we book a ninety minute diagnostic session — $250, applied in full toward any project booked within thirty days. You will receive a written memo with my honest assessment, a recommended approach, and a realistic scope and investment range. Then you decide. No pressure, just a quick follow up sales calls.
Plain Language Editing
Subject matter experts write what they know. They do not always write what the reader needs. I take documents written by people who know their field deeply — policies, procedures, reports, internal communications — and rewrite them in plain language that holds up when the next person has to use them without asking for help.
I have ADHD and have spent a lifetime navigating documents that were not written for the way most people actually read. That experience, combined with my psychology background and studies in learning disorders, means I bring an inclusive lens to this work. If your documentation is losing people before they finish the first page, that is a solvable problem.
Who This Is For
Organizations whose internal documents are technically accurate but practically unusable. Legal, financial, healthcare, and regulated environments where plain language is not optional. Teams preparing onboarding materials for staff with varied reading levels or learning differences.
Content Audit
A content strategy audit is not about individual pieces of content. It is a structured assessment of whether your content operation as a whole is delivering a return comparable to what that budget and effort would achieve elsewhere. By the time we are done, you will have an honest comparison — content strategy against legacy advertising, against other channels, against doing less and doing it better. No algorithm promises. No content calendar attached. Just a clear picture of what you have and whether it is working.
Who This is For
Marketing directors and CMOs who inherited a content operation and want an independent assessment. Organizations considering whether to scale up, scale back, or stop entirely. Anyone who has been told content marketing is working but cannot see it in the numbers.
Not Sure Where To Start?
That is what the fifteen minute call is for. You do not need to know what you need before you contact me. Describing the problem is enough. Start there.
